Blinkweb Opens and is Live - But Only to First 1,000

Blinkweb Opened today to a mad rush of eager subscribers. The Blinkweb Signup Page was live for about 10 minutes before the 1,000 spots were taken. The Callens capped the initial Blinkweb Launch at 1,000 to be sure their system could handle the load. I received their email and went to signup immediately only to find the 1,000 spots for Blinkweb were filled. I guess that’s what I get for going to get the mail myself. It was that quick.

The Blinkweb Release was announced via email and via comment post, which I found very interesting. Brad Callen had replied to a post on the main Businessdreams site and when the email was sent, a comment was also made on my blog post.

The Blinkweb Launch email had this to say:

Blinkweb is a brand new website creation tool that we’ve
developed specifically for internet marketers. The tool is
free and I can guarantee it’s the easiest to use, most feature
packed system available anywhere in the world.

We’ve just opened the site up less than 10 minutes ago. We’re
only accepting 1,000 members right now, as we want to make sure
that Blinkweb can handle that number of users.

After 1,000 users are reached, we’re closing the site down to
new users temporarily. We’re not sure how long.

Because the demand for Blinkweb is so high (i.e. Our blog post
showing the demo video of Blinkweb generated almost 2500 comments)
we know that the initial 1,000 user limit will be filled extremely
fast.

If you try to sign up and the site is closed, simply fill out
the notification form that will replace the signup form, and you
will be notified immediately when Blinkweb re-opens.

I touched base with Matt Callen from Blinkweb and he stated that in just a couple more days they’ll have Blinkweb PERMANENTLY open. You can sign up for the Blinkweb relaunch notification located on the bottom right hand side of the Blinkweb homepage and you will be notified when Blinkweb is open permanently. It should only be a couple days.

Matt states that they are sorry for the inconvenience, but in order to ensure that Blinkweb is
fully capable of handling the amount of users they expect, they needed to cap the initial launch to 1,000 users, which I totally understand.

I went back to the Blinkweb signup page only to find that it was down. Maybe the 1,000 Blinkweb testers will have to wait to give Blinkweb their review.

Blinkweb Demo Video

If you haven’t had a chance yet to watch the Blinkweb Demo Video, I recommend you take a minute and go to the company blog to check it out. They did a bang up professional job with the video and even used professional narration. The demo video is short and to the point and gives a good idea of the potential of this product. They show a web page being built right before your eyes at light speed, well, fast forward anyway and it is impressive.

Blinkweb makes website creation a drag and drop process. Though I am familiar with a lot of the web creation software, many people who want to put up a website of their own have no idea how to do it. The Blinkweb Demo Video shows us just how easy it will be for beginners, as well as experienced internet people, to create great looking, effective effective websites.

The Blinkweb Demo Video shows a lot of the features, but leaves a lot of questions as well. Will there be a fee for Blinkweb? Where will the websites created with Blinkweb be hosted? What options are available in the Blinkweb software? Does the Demo Video show the basic version or the business version? Will we be able to get our own demo version of Blinkweb, or just see it in videos?

The Blinkweb Demo Video was released to wet our appetites for what is to come. I believe that Blinkweb will be a very successful product with both the casual user and the more advanced internet marketer. I’m sure more videos will be coming in the near future but until then, we’ll just have to wait and be patient.

Welcome to Blinkweb Review!

Blinkweb Review is a site I decided to make specifically for the upcoming launch of Brad and Matt Callen’s Blinkweb web design software. This site will basically be my Blinkweb Review site. I believe the software will be a big success due in part to the limited options available for people who are inexperienced with website development tools such as html, css, php, Frontpage, Dreamweaver and the rest.

Blinkweb is a new product or service which is designed to revolutionize the way websites are developed. The Blinkweb software allows users to drag and drop elements into a webpage using only a mouse click. No coding is required. The only information that has been shared about Blinkweb at this point is the Blinkweb Demo Video that is available at their website. I also was graced by Brad Callen who made a comment on my post at the main businessdreams blog site.
